[20].Abstract This study used College Students Pathological Internet Use Questionnaire and Social Support Rating Scale to survey 395 college students to discuss the effects of social support on students’ pathological Internet use. The results indicated that low degree of college students’ social support is more likely to form pathological Internet use, that there are different degrees of negative correlation between each factor and total score of social support and pathological Internet use, and that social support is predictive of college students’ pathological Internet use.
